Wrestling Update

This past Friday, we had the first Friday Match Night of our winter season. We had our BEST competition turn out! A big thank you to everyone who came out. 
 
Congratulations to Matia, Gemma, Mao, Malcom, Laila, Isaias, Timur, Frida, Persya, Jaime, and Mathew. They each stepped up and earned some very valuable match experience. 
 
Looking ahead, the 217 Hawks have another competition this Saturday! This tournament will be in West Orange, New Jersey at West Orange High School and is hosted by BEAT-THE-STREETS who are providing transportation and the entry fee for the tournament. 
 
Based on age and experience, the following student-athletes will represent PS/IS 217:

• Matia Kovacic

 
Tournament:
(Wrestlers will be leaving from: 35th and 8th avenue in Manhattan at 9:35am)
