As many of you know, the NYC DOE announced Free Lunch For All at the start of the school year. This initiative provides free lunch to all NYC students, regardless of where they live or where they attend school. As a result, the NYC DOE no longer requires families to maintain a MySchoolBucks account, and will be refunding balances to those who have a remaining balance in their account.

Letters are being sent home via backpacks - but if you have not updated any change of address with the school please do so immediately to ensure your address is correct for any refund.
The DOE is planning to mail checks to all students who have a remaining balance to their home address - the address on file for the student. Please contact the school AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if your address has changed since the last time you provided the school with your home address.
