The DOE guidelines for playing outdoors in cold weather:
In cold weather, students will still be allowed to play outside whenever possible. Unless it’s snowing, there is ice on the playground, or the wind-chill factor is below zero degrees fahrenheit (-18 degrees celsius), schools will not prohibit outdoor play, based on the outdoor temperature alone. On very cold days, students should cover up skin, wear warm clothing, and use several layers to stay warm.
Now that the temperatures are dropping, please make sure your children come to school with the appropriate clothing for the colder weather. Please label all personal items with their name.
Because of your tremendous support, this year's Monster Bash had a record attendance and gross income!
It was amazing to see how our school community came together to enjoy the gorgeous weather and spooky vibes.
Bravo to everyone who worked so hard to make this event so special and fun for everyone.
Thank you, especially, to our parent/caregiver and teacher volunteers. We could not have done it without you.
