Why Support the PS/IS 217 PTA? Answer: Enrichments, Supplies, and Support The PTA supports the school, it's teachers, and it's academic and athletic programs by providing resources and support wherever necessary. Whether it is books for the Library, musical instruments, supplies for science classes, equipment for gym classes, or new furniture and carpets for classrooms, the PTA works hard to ensure the school has the resources it needs to support all our children wherever possible.
In addition, the PTA assumes responsibility for 100% of the cost of enrichment programming offered to students in each grade throughout the year. Each year every student will enjoy participating in valuable enrichment programs that may include a variety of dance classes, yoga and movement, gardening, architecture and math programs, theater and musicals To find out more about enrichments, CLICK HERE.
