Vote for 217 in the Participatory Budget - Today or Friday - or ONLINE!
217's got a project up for vote in the City's participatory budgeting process! Please vote THIS WEEK to help 217 get needed funds to update the cafeteria.
Kids 11 years and older are eligible to vote - this is a great civic duty lesson that directly affects KIDS! U.S. citizenship is not required.
217’s project is for the repair of the PS/IS 217 cafeteria floor.
On the Ballot, Vote for Item #7 - PS/IS 217 Cafeteria Renovations! Please vote FOR #7 THIS WEEK at:
▪Online at https://pbnyc2018.d21.me/.
▪The Roosevelt Island Subway station, on Wednesday, April 11th from 4pm to 7pm.
▪PS/IS 217 on Friday, April 13th from 7am to 10am.
The proposed re-tiling of the cafeteria floors and fixing the cracks would benefit all children that visit the school and enjoy free summer meals (both breakfast and lunch).
You may vote for more than one project - and the projects with the most votes will win. Please note that if you vote for lots of projects, the power of each of your votes may be less than if you only vote for one or two projects. In any event, vote for #7!!
Please vote so 217 can get funds for this important project. This is a great chance for us to show the strength of our community!
