Q1: What's your favorite thing about PS / IS 217?
Solow: My favorite thing at 217 is the multi-cultural population of students and parents.
Q4: What was your favorite subject when you were in elementary / middle school (depending on teacher grade level)?
My favorite subject in elementary school was music and history.
Q6: What's the last great book you read?
The last great book I read was a Chinese proverb book called "Tao ta Ching" by Lao Tzu.
Q7: How has being a student changed since the time you were in elementary/middle school?
When I was in elementary and middle school there were less freedoms for students. One had to follow all the rules and be very careful what you said and what you did to others. There were many more consequences for bad behavior and not doing your work.
Q8: What did you do on your summer vacation?
We spend summer vacation in China going to many different parts of the country to discover the vast beauty and wonder of this ancient country.
