Book of the Month continues at 217 with My Mouth is a Volcano by Julia Cook.
While reading this book students thought about self control. Have you ever had a feeling that you may erupt? Or the feeling of a rumble, grumble in your tummy or a jiggle or wiggle coming out of your body? If so, then you can relate to the main character Louis who struggles with self control. Told from Louis’ perspective this story provided a wonderful opportunity to teach the value of respecting others by listening and waiting for their turn to speak.
