Whether it’s working on the current art project, free drawing, or helping around the art room, Mai always tries her very best and it defiantly shows! Michael is such a kind and caring soul and shows such an amazing attitude every single day in art class and beyond! Michael is never afraid to exercise his creativity and try new techniques. He is always the first to help a friend or myself, and does so with so much kindness. A truly skilled artist and an all-around great kid, Michael is always a pleasure to have in art class. Veronica is a very special young artist. Besides being an amazing drawer and painter, Veronica is also one of the most helpful students I have ever had. The moment Veronica walks into the art classroom, she asks me what she can do to help, and often does not take no for an answer haha! Veronica has such a love for art and expressing her creativity and unique ideas, and she always takes her time and pays attention to detail. Keep up the great work Veronica!

Shaima always walks into the art room with such an amazing smile, great attitude, and ready to learn and show her creativity. She has such a love and passion for everything she does in art class. A very skilled artist, Shaima is never afraid to try new things, and work extra hard in order to have the best work possible. Naoki is such a ray on sunshine in art class!
Everyday he walks into the room beaming with
excitement and asks me what we are going to
do that day. Naoki is always kind to others and
treats everybody with equal respect. He is
always ready to do his best work, carefully
listens to directions, and exhibits a tremendous
about of patience. Naoki is defiantly a role

Irena Dvorak, Class K004
Irena demonstrates respectful behavior from the moment she arrives at art class! She listens attentively when another artist is speaking, follows class instructions, and perseveres to make her artwork outstanding! Irena’’s favorite art making material is clay. Her favorite piece of art she has made is the painted pattern of shapes that she made in art class. One day, she would like to create a sugar skull out of clay, just like her brother Miklos!
Keep up the excellent work, Irena!!

Dani consistently demonstrates that she is a positive, responsible and helpful member of her art class! She practices thoughtful decision making when creating her amazing artwork, and does not give up until her work is complete! Dani’s favorite art making material paint. Her favorite piece of art she has made is a house created from index cards that she made with her dad. One day, she would like to make slime in art class.

Lorenzo Aranda, Class 204
Lorenzo stands out for his kindness and respectful behavior in art class! He does an excellent job sharing materials with his fellow artists, lending a hand during clean up, and practicing active listening during instruction. Lorenzo’s favorite art making material is paint. His favorite piece of art he has ever made is his African mask of a bird. One day, he would like to build a sculpture out of wood.

Taia serves as an excellent role model to her fellow artists, both in her behavior and her art making. Her attentive listening to instruction, her focus during independent work time, and her thoughtful attention to detail help her to create beautiful pieces of art! Taia’s favorite art making material is paint. Her favorite piece of art she has made is her African mask. One day, she would like to create a 3D letter out of cardboard. Way to go, Taia!

Gemma stands out for her excellent listening skills, ability to work independently, and her incredible art work! She demonstrates positive behavior by arriving to class ready to listen, helping out around the classroom, and treating her fellow artists with kindness. Gemma’s favorite art making materials are colored pencils, drawing pencils, and markers. Her favorite piece of art she has made is a drawing of a cat- her favorite subject to draw! One day, she would like to create something “cute and beautiful.” Well done, Gemma!

Adam exceeds expectations in the art room by practicing respectful behavior, putting careful thought into his artwork, and focusing on his art for the duration of independent work time. Adam is not afraid to try new materials and creative strategies, and he perseveres to continuously improve his art. Adam’s favorite art making materials are colored pencils. His favorite piece of art he has ever made is his skeleton collage. One day, he would like to make his very own comic book. We are proud of you, Adam!
