Support your fellow PTA members and nominees for the PTA Exec. Board and SLT Team!  The Parent Teacher Association works to support the school and build community with monthly meetings, fundraisers, and events including Monster Bash, the Talent Show, and more! The Exec Board prepares the budget, develops the calendar, and facilitates all PTA activities and communications. Exec Board positions can be held by one or two members, so grab a buddy and run together!
The School Leadership Team is composed of parent/guardians and staff members who meet monthly to collaboratively determine the structure for school-based planning and shared decision making. 2022-2023 Nomination form can be found here. 217's Spring Auction is right around the corner and is historically our biggest fundraising event of the school year. Funds raised help us purchase technology, teacher training seminars, enrichment for our students (dance and music classes), outfit our new rooftop garden, and more. Our auction goes LIVE April 1! DONATE AN AUCTION ITEM: Have a weekend home you can offer a getaway? Work in TV or theater and can offer tickets and backstage tour? Tickets to a sporting event? Are you a photographer and can offer a photo package? Jewelry maker? Own or know someone that owns a restaurant, or business and can provide a gift card? Language lessons? -- or maybe you can help with outreach? Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to volunteer your time by emailing us at pta217auction2gmail.com.

   Our Read-a-Thon is soon ending, and we have our 4th and final weekend challenge -- a surprise double challenge!
 All students who raise $10 + read 30 min (or more!) are entered into a raffle -- ONE WINNER -- to join in a MarioKart-style scooter race against the opponent of their choice!
