A Message From the Executive Board

First off thank you to the P.S/I.S 217 Administration.  They have yet again kicked off another successful school year. 

We want to take a moment to acknowledge how different the first day of school feels this year to many in our 217 community. This school year brings with it new challenges, uncertainties, and obstacles.  However, adversity breeds opportunity and, as Plato once said, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” With understanding, flexibility, grace, and trust, we will build an even stronger 217 community and capitalize on new and exciting opportunities for all of our students.  

On behalf of the entire Executive Board, we are thrilled to welcome every student, teacher, and administrator back to 217 in person.  We particularly welcome back kids who were remote all of last year and who were very, very missed in the halls of 217. We also welcome all our new families: We are so happy to have you join our wonderful community!
