Annual Family Giving to the PTA General Fund
The PTA is the primary funder of the school enrichment programs for all students at the school, including art, gardening, dance and cultural appreciation activities.
These programs WILL NOT continue every year unless the families at the school participate in our fundraising activities. Our suggested yearly donation is $500 per family. By donating online at our page at www.NYCharities.org, you can pay all at once or structure automatic payments on a monthly or quarterly basis. Make your full payment or get your automatic payments set up in September to really help kick-start our fundraising energy!

You can also donate over the school year by check made out to PS/IS 217 PTA, or with cash, using the monthly Donation Envelopes that will come home from school with your child. The Pipeline Donation is $30 per month. As one parent said, “With three kids, I can handle that.”
Percent of Participation counts! We need you as much as we need your money. Even $5 to $20 a month helps us obtain large grants by showing that everyone cares about our school.
We are a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3). Your donations are tax deductible and may be eligible for matching grants from employers that have matching programs (see a sample list of companies that match donations here).
